Samara Cyn - Samara Cyn - Bad Brain | Vevo DSCVR

Samara Cyn - Bad Brain | Vevo DSCVR Did you happen to notice people walking around with a little extra attitude last fall? Probably had something to do with the arrival of Samara Cyn’s ‘The Drive Home.’ The debut album from the Tennessee native is a skip-to-my-lou game between snappy boom-bap drums and Cyn’s agile delivery. It doesn’t take a lot of time to realize that the self-described hip-hop/neo soul artist is serious about her craft. Having graduated from Party Capital USA, ASU, Cyn moved to LA with a mind towards getting “serious,” particularly about her poetry. Tracks such as the serpentine “Sinner” and fried-out “imightdie.” make it clear those open mic nights paid off: her voice is a versatile mood-setter. No surprise folks flocked to her COLORS performance of “CHROME” a little while back. This spring, the Sun Devil is on an expansive North American tour with Smino; that’s a ticket we’d recommend grabbing. For now, you can get this performance of “Bad Brain” on repeat. Tinashe - Uh Huh (Live Performance) | Vevo

Tinashe - Uh Huh. An exclusive performance for Vevo. You need not scroll Tinashe’s Wikipedia page to appreciate the two decades of showbiz experience she has under her belt. You simply have to watch her at work. For example: check these captivating live cuts captured in our studio while T was on her BB/ANG3L tour. Drum ‘n’ bass tracks are rarely so captivating in a live setting as her Vevo Studio spin “Tightrope” spin. And check her ballad expertise on "Uh Huh" - delicious. By the way, have you taken twenty minutes to watch 'THE BB/ANG3L EXPERIENCE' yet? Girl conceptualized and choreographed an entire visual companion to her most recent project. Filmed it all in 12 hours, too. To have the success that Tinashe has had as an independent pop star requires ambition, attention, and, above all, execution. On 2021’s ‘333’ she donned a third eye and found enlightenment on more experimental gambits like “X.” Those ideations totally paid off, because fans kept clamoring for her consummate craft. Sturdy trap hats, 808s, and Nashe’s sensual self-assuredness make newer songs like “Needs” and “Talk Nice To Me” real mood setters. Bet you’re too captivated by her to even read this. Great to have her in our studio.
